Oh-oh, I'm Gonna Be In Trouble...

Do you see what's in this picture? Do you see why I'm gonna be in trouble (have to control my sugar b/cuz of Type II Diabetes)? And if you are reading this, you're going to be
in trouble, too!
I just found this recipe blog and Mr. Glen Oaks is going to

have some baking/cooking to do. Click Coleen's Recipes: GLAZED SPUDNUT (style) DONUTS to go to Coleen's posts for the donut recipe. She has lots of other recipes, too.
Uh-oh, Mr. Glen Oaks was looking over my shoulder when I
posted the picture of the donuts. He wants me to send the
link to his computer now! I smell hot donuts frying...

And Still More Giveaway News!

Aren't these awesome for Halloween? Generous Willa of The Old Cupboard Door is having a giveaway for two of these adorable Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Pokes. Please note that the giveaway is just
for 2 of these pokes. Willa gave a tutorial last year to show how
to make your own jack-o-lantern pokes.
Click the link HERE to take the tutorial. Did you go and take a peek?
Super easy, super fast. You can make a bunch of these and have
them for Halloween party favors, poke some in your mum plants,
floral arrangements. You could make them for kids' pencil toppers instead of using skewers.
So, the deadline for entry is October 6th. Drawing will be on Oct.7th.
Click HERE to go to Willa's blog and enter.
Whew, I'm feeling a little tired. I went blog crazy today and have been practically blogging since the wee hours of today and last night!
I think I've had too much coffee...

Prim's by Kim - A Great Blog You'll Want To Visit

While you are blogging today, make a pot of tea and visit all of the great blogs I've posted about last night and this morning.
Here's a wonderful prim blog I like called Prim's by Kim.
Here are some photos of her work that "spoke to me":

And to start off her winter works she has made the first of her Snowpeople, "Wilma". Hi, Wilma.

Kim's work is whimsical and beautiful. I enjoyed looking through her "PumpkinHeads" that she has made.
Enjoy your day, Primmies...
Susan

How About Another Giveaway?

I love Brenda's work and she's having ANOTHER Giveaway right on the  heels of her Pumpkins and Crow Giveaway. The winner of that
giveaway is Robin of The Primitive Hutch. It would be nice to give her blog a visit and congratulate her. While I'm on the subject,
also stop in to The Primitive Hutch Store. I've got my eye on her
Father Christmas doll!
Back to the excitement for October. Brenda is back on her schedule
of TWO giveaways a month. So the first giveaway for October ends
October 15, 2011. It's for the fabulous Wool Woodlands Snowman
above. Click Wool Woodlands Snowman Giveaway enter for a chance
to win.
I can't wait to see what Brenda's second giveaway will be!

Talk to you later...

of her work and her studio is to-die-for! Honestly, you have
to see it.
Here's a peek:

O.K.,I know I said Teddy Bear Artist but she does other work as well, my next favorite thing, Rabbits.
To read about Marijke's story click Biography.
To spend time ooohwing and ahhwing at her work            click Scrapbook.
To see her uniquely beautiful workshop/studio                 click Little Moon Studio.
Mr. Glen Oaks is going to have a major project coming his way and he doesn't know it yet. I love the huge hutch-type

Calling All Teddy Bear Makers!

I follow a blog called The Old Pincushion. Vivianne is from the Netherlands and sells Teddy Bears, Mohair, Kits for Bears, Rabbit, Piggy, and Elephants. She has glass eyes, disc joints, pretty ribbons and vintage style keys. Everything you need to make a beautiful  mohair stuffed animal.
She let her followers know that she is slowly easing out of Etsy and
moving to: The Old Pincushion New Shop On Zibbet!
I've been to Etsy and created a Treasury of Teddy Bears and Friends
and another called More Teddy Bears and Friends.
I hope you enjoy her blogs Gotta Share This and The Old Pincushion.
You can see my Treasury Lists on Etsy Here and Here. They include
my "wishes" to have from Vivianne's shops.
Warm Regards,
Susan
