A Fun and Simple Giveaway

I just received this information from Leisure Arts regarding their
"Knook" products. They are out in stores now but there's a simple
giveaway going on at Leisure Arts Knook Giveaway blog.
They are giving away 10 Beginner Knook Sets and 5 sets of their
6 new Knook books. All you have to do is click on the link above and
leave a comment on their blog. That's it! I can't wait for the drawing
the deadline is November 7, 2011. Here are some of the books:

There are books on women's hats, scarves, and cute little dishcloths
made with Knook (not pictured).
I really want to learn this. It will have to wait cuz I'm going to be
learning needlefelting. I have to go one step at a time, I get so
carried away with all of the new crafts. But I want to get one of these if I don't win one!

Looky What I Got Today!!

Look at the surprise I got in the mail today. I knew it was on it's way but
didn't know exactly when. It's always wonderful when there's a package
with your name on it, no matter how old you are!
Here's what it looked like when I opened the envelope:

The first thing I noticed was the wonderful aroma of spicy-sweet
apples, yum!

I opened the very lovely prim notecard with this awesome rooster graphic on the front. It was a sweet note from a wonderful new
blogger friend, Trace of Granny Trace Scraps and Squares!!
Next I sniffed the wax tarts some more!

And then these beautiful 3-dimensional scrapbooking birds. You can't see the details but the nests and the birdies are beautiful and the flowers have little white crystal accents, from K&Company.

Daughter Ashley uses this brand faithfully in her scrapbooking, they
are her favorite company. And, finally my gorgeous prim candlemat:

It's all wool in these dreamy autumn colors, with the two appliqued
pumpkins in wool, here's a closer view:

See the little button on the pumpkin? It's such an adorable piece,
my first prim candlemat!!
Thank you again, Trace, I love the candlemat and for all of the
extra goodies you sent. We have the Baked Apple Strudel warming
in a tart burner right now and my candlemat has a new home on
my hutch with my salt glaze stoneware.!

Thanks You's, A Surprise and A BooBoo

Hi, Primmies, how is everyone today? It finally stopped raining here and there is quite a breeze blowing about. We had the windows open and had
to close them as things were starting to topple over!
I want to thank everyone who left the sweet comments, I am just getting
up and around now to be online. I will send my emails later on.
And, I have DH taking photos of my surprise I received in the mail today! Everyone knows my pictures are stinky.
I can't stay long right now, I have to tend to a broken filling, since it is
5pm I have rely on Mr. Glen Oaks. He went to the store and bought that
temp dental stuff. It works pretty good, I've used it in the past.
The fat cat is walking around the house howling like he's starved.
Yeah, right. So I have to feed him before we work on my tooth.
