Hi, Prims ~
Deb of Paxton Valley Folk Art has asked us to re-post Susan's
link. Her husband has gone missing after being brought to the
hospital after an accident. She's asking for help in the search for her husband:

IT WAS A HARD DECISION TO MAKE
Dear Primmies ~
As you know I was given The Versatile Blogger award and I was very appreciative and humbled. When asked to choose 10 or even 15 bloggers to pass the award onto, I couldn't pick just 10 OR 15. I follow 300 blogs and I have 111 followers now which I am totally blown away over. I wrote Robin of The Primitive Hutch and asked her to please not be angry with me, I would still do the seven random things about myself but I felt that I am drawn to each and every blog for a different reason and when I attempted to make the list I would stop and change a name and then it was,"Oh, what about her and her " and I realized that no matter how I did the list I would be leaving someone off that I truly admire and love their art or whatever they write about.
So I'm sorry I hope no one is upset with me or disappointed with me. I guess I understand now why I see that sign on some blogs
about being a no award blog because you just can't pick and choose from people that have become your friends.
This has given me a lot of anxiety and I waited until very late today to write this. I hope you all understand.
Hugs,
Susan

To Keep You Busy This Weekend
Good Morning, Primmies ~
I've got stitching to do and guess what?? I'm staying overnight
to watch 'the Granddogs'! I'm beside myself (can you be next
to yourself?)and the three of them keep us busy. Mr. Glen Oaks
will be with me, I can't handle the pit bull/Great Dane what-
ever Toki is. He's HUGE! I mean the size of a small pony
huge.
So I may not be around until Monday and to keep you busy
(I know you have hundreds of blogs to read, I'm just funnin'
with you) I found this tutorial on The Primitive Pantry.
The writer of the tutorial is Libby and she came up with this
awesome idea as part of a "challenge" she was given. Here
is the tutorial to make "Faux Hanging Tapers":
Click the link HERE to go to The Primitive Pantry blog Faux Hanging Tutorial by Libby. Have fun with this, I'm trying these
over at the homestead today. Cheesecloth, twine, some paint,
Modge Podge and spices; I have that!!
Hugs,
Susan
p.s. Diane of Lavender Dreamer saw an egg in the nest at
six a.m. this morning! The female eagle is sitting there in the nest, she's been there and will not leave except to take breaks and the male will sit on the eggs. The eggs and eaglets will never be left unattended.
