To Keep You Busy This Weekend

Good Morning, Primmies ~

I've got stitching to do and guess what?? I'm staying overnight
to watch 'the Granddogs'! I'm beside myself (can you be next
to yourself?)and the three of them keep us busy. Mr. Glen Oaks
will be with me, I can't handle the pit bull/Great Dane what-
ever Toki is. He's HUGE! I mean the size of a small pony
huge.
So I may not be around until Monday and to keep you busy
(I know you have hundreds of blogs to read, I'm just funnin'
with you) I found this tutorial on The Primitive Pantry.
The writer of the tutorial is Libby and she came up with this
awesome idea as part of a "challenge" she was given. Here
is the tutorial to make "Faux Hanging Tapers":
Click the link HERE to go to The Primitive Pantry blog Faux Hanging Tutorial by Libby. Have fun with this, I'm trying these
over at the homestead today. Cheesecloth, twine, some paint,
Modge Podge and spices; I have that!!

Hugs,
Susan
p.s. Diane of Lavender Dreamer saw an egg in the nest at
six a.m. this morning! The female eagle is sitting there in the nest, she's been there and will not leave except to take breaks and the male will sit on the eggs. The eggs and eaglets will never be left unattended.

Hi Susan,
It almost doesn't get better than doggiesittin' the grand pups. Only thing better are the grand babies...so far we have 3 and we waited almost 50 years for them. Have fun and EnJoY! Thanks so much for your recent comments on my Blog ... I so enjoy visiting with you.
Fondly with warm Blessings, Barb

Oh no, I hope you survive babysitting!!

You'll have to post pictures of your grubby tapers if you do this, would love to see them! =]

We survived! And I loved it so much being there with the dogs and the kitties. We didn't see much of the cats, though. They don't know us as well as the dogs (I don't know why) although the pretty female cat Peanut always says hi to us, and we see Biggie's brother ONCE in a while. It's Jam that is skittish. But the cats stay clear most of the time.
Didn't have any time to get far with the tapers. Maybe this week. I'm really devoting my free time to stitching. The needle scared me being around the dogs, I didn't want them to get a hold of one.

I Look Forward To Your Comments
