Even I Can Do This!!

Gooseberry Patch has lots of free recipes all the time. This recipe came from Mostly Homemade Mom on the July 17th blog post from Gooseberry Patch the Blog.
I've been staring at my cherry pie filling in the cabinet every time I open it. Finally! Something besides cherry pie (I like to have different treats every now and then). I didn't have sugar cookie mix in the pouches or the rolls, so I made my own and followed the recipe. Yum!
I hope everyone is doing well and having a good summer. It's way to humid here for my health! It was so bad one week, the mister had to go to the hospital because he couldn't breathe! Ugh...
It's so nice right now, and it cooled down a lot from the 90's. The mister actually talked about living in Arizona! Is he crazy?? He said it's dry there. Yeah, and it's like a hundred and five degrees!
Still doing radio frequency procedures on my leg nerves and back. Some have worked for four months, a couple didn't work for more than a month.
I've got to build my strength up to get out and about more!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Hi Susan! Oh I love homemade cookin'.
We finally got a break in the weather too. The humidity was so thick, well you know... Summer is almost over already. Think we'll complain about the cold... lol.

Blessings,
Carol

My goodness me......good to see you and know you are still around. I haven't been blogging much at all so I shouldn't talk, so much happening that I can't keep up. FB is mostly what I keep up on now. Think of you often and praying all is well with you and yours.
hugs and blessings,
Sheila

Thanks for the great recipe link Susan. Hope it stays cool for you and your hubby and that the radio frequency treatments give you some ease from your pain. Miss you when you're gone! Deb

Goodness Susan, hope your husband is doing better now and you too. It's been cooler here and even supposed to be in the 80's next week, hope it's cooler there where you are.

I'm crazy about Gooseberry Patch and follow their blog too. I remember seeing this recipe and pinned it to my Pinterest so I could make them. Glad to hear it is yummy, will have to make it for sure now.

Take care of yourself. Have a delightful week~
