Hi, Prim Pals:
This is the last post tonight, I promise. I've been faithfully reading all of your blogs and doing my best to leave comments. Mr. Glen Oaks has been
doing a lot of typing for me as I dictate, but he's got that nerve damage in his hand and elbow so he's
not in his best form either. 
I won another giveaway. I know, I'm stinkin spoiled rotten! This one is from Janice of  PRIMS BY THE WATER. Tricia of  Hillcrest Home Prims was winner number one and I was number two. Here's what I won. Three handmade cotton stripe 
Peppermint Sticks with the sweet custom made Cupid labels. They have their own special place already, in my kitchen near the entrance is a vintage repro candy box on the wall that has jars with pewter lids that say "Peppermint" and "Chocolate". The Peppermint Sticks are of course appropriately stored in the Peppermint jar:

Oh, one more thing. One of my favorite doll makers is Sandy of The Olde Country Cupboard has been busy designing new patterns and new dollies. She has a big show coming up in March in Florida, 

Mount Dora I believe. She and her daughter Samantha are doing a show together, including some of Samantha's tarts and tart burners and patterns and aprons. ONE OF OUR BLOGGER FRIENDS IS IN PRINT

Hi, Primmies ~

I'm feeling quite a bit better (it could be the pain pills) so I have to post this before I go to sleep. I

should have done this days ago but you know how

it goes sometimes...

First, look at our full moon tonight. If you haven't

already, it's a beauty. It was the prettiest shades of

pinky orange earlier, right after moonrise. My 

camera is so very outdated and it's the one I found

so I shouldn't have even tried to photograph the

moon but I did. Here it is, don't laugh please:

It doesn't even look round in my picture (giggles)!

On to better things, Karen of My Colonial Home is

in the Spring 2012 issue of A Primitive Place &

Country Journal. 

She's on page seven and some of

her penny rugs are photographed for the article.

Her website is K M Primitives and she really is very, very talented. 

You should see her latest penny rug called "Ewe Following Me", she had it

on her blog a few days ago. It's adorable!

MY GOODIES FROM BRENDA ARE HOME

Hi, Primmies ~

This post is overdue as far as I'm concerned. I had trouble loading

pictures from camera to computer

to my netbook but they finally made it!

My bloggin' buddy Brenda of

The Rusty Thimble sent me some of the prim perfect Rabbits she's been making. It's her Rabbit she makes with the coat made from old quilts,

and you HAVE to see them in person

so I highly recommend that you buy one (heehee). Seriously, they are

marvelous:

This is the best picture I seemed to take, look at the dreamy creams and tans and his rusty nail paws, cheesecloth scarf and hand stitched details

I love how she made the stuffins' coming out of him!

I knew he was coming to our house to live, but these were a big surprise and this is how she does things, from her generous heart!

I've always wanted these because I marvel at how they look like real molded chocolate bunnies

Brenda sent me a pair and I'm so thrilled. They are going in my grandmother's dough trencher that she made her biscuits in all her life. My Dad gave it to me before he passed away when she was still alive and in her nineties (she wasn't makin' biscuits anymore) They will be in a bed of green excelsior and I have to make some of those great grungy fabric carrots to lay around the rabbits
